Cosy Catastrophes

funkcutter it has made me giggle like a school girl and jig around in equal parts - great music - warm tracks I know this UA style of old and then fresh new fancies with superb jangling, thrusting guitar with much vocal anachronism but is it back from the future or into the past? A natural progression of the Bonzo gods. Favorite track: The Breast, The Liver And The Heart.

cardiacade A wonderful tangle of tattered and wonky 'pop' music. As eccentric as you'd like and laden with a plethora of wonderful oddities that you wished you'd heard years ago. Folk of dubious culture may spot the occasional influence by the marvellous Tim Smith and Bob Drake. Favorite track: Old Fruit.

There is no beach Like a long beach with all its shells There is no flag Like a white flag with all its Cells reproducing Gimmicks abound All ourselves we begin to fly In the seas, the streets, the sky We believe in the beat We are soft underneath We are what we are when we smile All points point to The night with fat and rattles There is no soap Or hope at all despite our Cells reproducing Gimmicks abound All ourselves we begin to fly In the seas, the streets, the sky We believe in the beat We are soft underneath We are what we are when we smile The Seas! The Streets! The Skies!

January starts with a jigsaw part In my breast and my liver and my heart So I paddle in the charms I surveyed my old plot And decided that it was about time the beans came out, Dirty grin, But at least it was 'A Thing' In my flux and my kidney and my orbs There are patterns as pretty as a a port, I apologise in Morse- Code words, The rest is overheard, Birds are nesting in my chest Anguish, languish inner anxious An amateur at best best! December ends with a 'Gung-Ho!' sung By my humors, my vapours and my lungs, I remember when they youngs... I planned revenge I cut my fingernails I am a ham! Anguish, languish inner anxious An amateur at best best!

When the west kisses you Best count your teeth Its Blasted and Blessed And not yet half-dressed The west is a number A small one at that Its wearing my hat So unless I Push a stick into the ground and walk along its shadow My mind is a pilgrim and I'm cheating the vulgar gamble of voting This last century Holds no water for me A blunderbuss booming out bilious facts I pay my tax And I want it back I want it back I want it back I want to Push a stick into the ground And walk along its shadow My mind is a pilgrim and I'm cheating the vulgar gamble of voting This last century.

Where you are there arises a place Where you are there arises a place Where you are there arises a place Where you are there arises a place The signs are there Clarity's where We learn to care that Where you are there arises a place Where you are there arises a place Where you are there arises a place Where you are there arises a place The signs say so Creation flows And when you knows that Where you are there arises a place Where you are there arises a place Where you are there arises a place Where you are there arises a place The point is this KISS! KISS! KISS! KISS! A roll of honour For this isle of ill omen At last

I wobble wildly In the light of the fridge again again I imagine the return of the normal child Who stood still and sang Shang a Laing a Laing a Laing! Shang a Laing a Laing a Laing! Heck Heck, Hang it all! Heck Heck, Hang it all! I wander widely As I do the levitate again again I imagine the return of the upstart child Who stood still and sang… Shang a Laing a Laing a Laing! Shang a Laing a Laing a Laing! Heck Heck, Hang it all! Heck Heck, Hang it all! As Matthew saw the masters ugliness He was afraid That his mind was on parade English and unmade.. So says the effeminate lout within I imagine applying flying ointment Can you? I can… Shang a Laing a Laing a Laing! Shang a Laing a Laing a Laing! Heck Heck, Hang it all! Heck Heck, Hang it all! As Matthew saw the masters ugliness He was afraid That his mind was on parade English and unmade..

Hello is a good lie to learn first So the cover-up can begin to do its work An early pantomime And all the traps of time Have held me back This life that I have led Me to this place Has held me back Held me back History is where I hid the bodies Of all hope and dreaming Child alive! Or so it seems I’ve had no dreams for years Oh, am I that kind of flower? Goodbye is a bully that won’t leave Me alone with my ‘Burn the buildings down’ This life that I have led Me to this place it has Held me back An early pantomime And all the traps of time Have held me back Held me back Here it is A special war number All the riches go to the conjuror Now I know All cops are bastards Do your worst Its not the first time in my life Staring at a chair leg Its boring Hey lets go burn down all our History is where I hid the bodies Of all hope and dreaming Child alive!

Old Fruit 02:30
Bring old fruit And beg pardons In unfortunate gardens And eat for forever and a Day and night means nowt to me anymore Sing old songs Surrounded by A glove of winter sky And sigh for forever and a Day and night means nowt to me anymore... String old fruit Around the pole Take it to the crossroads And dance for forever and a day Or you'll eat gruel for forever in a way Weigh your head, your name is not on the lid anymore...

Poring over papers I am unable to accept this truth Lawyers love the maze that I have unfortunately Brought forth Once more Praying despite doubts It does not change the fact that I saw The maw Of death I smelt Its breath is the reason I'm a Phantomist And my body is Mangled Pouring one a cuppa That is one of the things that I miss Stepping over dead men It may sound slightly crass but At least I can Still smoke And hope That nobody knows that I'm a Phantomist And my body is Mangled

If you're worried about little anythings If you've ever been an animal an animal The goat is quite ready The thing is... Wading around in sweepings allows A certain mood to sink in, alas we Forgo the bombs and try to fit in, Whats this, a tin englishman already? If You're worried about little anythings If You've tinkered around with the buttered end The goat is quite ready The thing is... Wading around in sweepings allows A certain mood to sink in, alas we Forgo the bombs and try to fit in, Whats this, a tin englishman already? All of these curses causing me troubles All of these wurzels giving me evils And/or the difficulty of heroes and of the buttered end

about

'Long awaited' album stubbornly recorded to 4 tracks in an esoteric fashion in UA's East London Branch Office, mostly during lockdown.

In keeping with UA's live format (floor tom, snare, tambourine, guitar, shouting), NO bass guitar, no kick drum, hihat, etc were used.

Overthought, overwrought and underproduced by Thee Executive Pig.
